Two weeks and counting

The last two weeks are finally here and the next blog will be written and posted in Kenya!!!!

Few final reminders and things to get ready before the last part of the Kenya journey begins....the trip itself.

We have attended and supported over 50 school events over the last year and half raising money and promoting the cause. From car washes, crazy beards to curry nights its been a really creative and energetic process getting to know the awesome Kenya group. We have had record breaking fundraising with some students raising the full amount in under 6 months (massive congrats) and some awesome business style approaches to ensure maximum return is gained from the varied ideas.

We have had over 20 group meetings, sent and received over 3000 emails, tweeted over 250 times, blogged 10 times, over 200 PP slides have been created and shared and we have had in excess of £4000 worth of goods donated to take to the projects in Kenya. The generosity of local businesses and families in the community is such as positive and amazing addition to the project. We look forward to sharing with you the ways your donations will be needed and used in the projects.

Please don't forget to book a session with Miss Wilson to prepare lesson plans and resources for your lessons in Kenya (lunches and after school sessions are available)
